International Institute for Insurance and Finance
The Institute was established to develop high calibre and highly competitive professionals who can play a crucial role in the development of the insurance industry. IIIF seeks to play a catalytic role in the growth of India's insurance education.
IIIF is committed to transform young and enthusiastic persons into business leaders of future. IIIF will take in students of high calibre from different strata of society and provide a challenging learning environment to produce market-oriented and dynamic leaders, capable of handling any assignment.
Collaborations
Georgia State University: IIIF has entered into strategic alliance with Georgia State University, specifically through it's Department of Risk Management and Insurance (DRMI). The course content used in IIIF's program offerings are based on DRMI's programs and have been adapted and culturalised for the Indian market
Osmania University: IIIF has entered into an agreement with Osmania University, through its G Ram Reddy's Centre for Distance Education (PGRRCDE). IIIF's course programs will have the association of Osmania University's PGRRCDE and the certificates issued will be co-signed by Osmania University.
Courses offered
Post Graduate Diploma in Insurance & Risk Management:The P.G. Diploma program is considered a stepping stone to careers in insurance sector. It imparts in-depth knowledge and provides skills in the various functional areas surrounding the insurance market. The course will be conducted at the PGRRCDE on the Osmania University campus, Hyderabad.
Program Structure
The one-year program shall consist of 12 courses spread over 2 semesters.
Eligibility
Masters students (any discipline, with atleast 55 percent score)
Professionals seeking to build a career in insurance and who can dedicate a whole year for the programme.
Graduates (any discipline with atleast 55 percent score)
Students in final year of degree course can also apply, subject to the condition that they become eligible to seek admission.
Admission
Admission to PGDIRM is open to all, and is based on merit secured in an entrance test(s), designated, together with the criteria set by the Academic Advisory Committee of PGRRCDE, OU-IIIF from time to time.
The Selection criteria comprise the following heads:
i) Written Test - Maximum Marks 200
ii) Micro Presentation (MP) To be based on - Maximum Marks 100 objective testing

How to Apply
Obtain the original prospectus and application form from IIIF
Only photo copies of certificates should be enclosed as directed and also one passport size photograph in addition to the one fixed on the application.
Two references - one of the teachers, who taught the candidate either at University or College level and another of employer (if employed) or a suitable person should be furnished.
The candidates should enclose a demand draft for Rs.500 towards entrance test fee. DD should be drawn in favour of IIIF, Hyderabad.
Walk-in Facility:In case a candidate is not able to submit the filled-in application in time, such candidate can submit the application along with demand draft of Rs.1000.00 and two passport size photographs directly at examination center and take the examination.
